Software Repository Mining

Introduction

We are witnessing a considerable change in the use of software repositories, no longer intended as a simple storage of software packages and flow control, but also as a sort of online social network where developers interact with each othernot only by modifying software, but also by interactions through comments, emoticons, sharing of multimedia data on certain issues solved or commits made.

This research activity aims at creating a framework to identify overlapping user/developer communities by modelling user interactions through a new graph-based data model that jointly combines document metadata with semantic information.
